    Chi Psi Omega Chapter celebrates three-peat

    CHI-PSIChi Psi Omega Chapter celebrates three-peat

    Chi Psi Omega Chapter members are award winners for the third year in a row. At its 61st annual South Atlantic Regional Conference held this year in Jacksonville, April 2-6, the chapter received the membership reclamation award for small chapters, region’s nomination for Health Partner Award to be presented in July at the sorority‘s biennial conference in Charlotte, Platinum EAF Award, second place; Connection Award and third place C.A.R.E.S. award, 2013 Chapter President, Barbara J. Thomas, received the prestigious Homie Regulus Basileus Award for outstanding leadership.

    The chapter had 37 members in attendance at the conference: Andrea Bailey-Dowling, Tamara F. Battle, LaKeitha G. Baugh, Mavis Brown, Kassandra Burton, Patricia Ciceron, Antoinette Coats-Smith, Sabrina Colston-Leslie, Ashante Davis, Bennie J. Edwards, Paula Edwards, Malikh Franklin-Williams, Tanika Franklin-Francis, Jerelene S. Franklin, Miriam  U. Gayle, Revertha W. Grace, Michelle P. Green, Ashley Greene, Adrea Hightower, Olivia B. Hilton,  Karena Ivey, Brandi Joseph, Candace Kennedy, Emma H. Kurtz, Ann B. Lee, Catrice Lee-Brown, Venetta McCullough, Tscharner Miller-Strapp, Carla Navarro, Josetta B. Patterson, Manassa Petithomme, Veronica E. Phillips, Nina Rickett-McWhorter, Tracy Roach, Ervean Shannon-Goff, Barbara J. Thomas and Luwando Wright-Hines.

    At the annual AKA Day at the Capitol, March 19-20, Chi Psi Omega Chapter received three first place awards Connection Award, C.A.R.E.S. Award and MLK Day of Service Award. Chi Psi Omega Chapter continues to be recognized for its outstanding and stellar service to the community. Under the leadership of Chi Psi Omega current president, Veronica E. Phillips, the chapter will continue serving the community and impacting lives.
