I, like many of you, looked at the year 2020 as something of monumental significance. Some of us who are in the body of Christ may have come up with catchy sayings like 2020 vision, not knowing that three months into the new year we would be in a Pandemic.
During this Post Easter Season, we find ourselves confronted with a virus, an invisible sickness that has claimed many lives. Many people see our Heavenly Father as a GOD of love ONLY. He is also a GOD of wrath, justice and judgment. As Preacher/Prophet, may I simply tell you – GOD is angry. We can’t continue to disrespect, dis-honor, and flaunt our sin in His face, and say as in Psalm 94: 7” The Lord, shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it” and not be held accountable. Hebrews 12:6 says “For Whom The Lord Loveth He Chasteneth, And Scourgeth Every Son/Daughter Whom He Receiveth”.
God’s indictment against America:
The treatment of the Native Americans, African- Americans and other minorities
The legalization of abortion, gambling and same sex marriage.
The treatment of our poor, the orphans, the elderly, and child victims of sexual abuse
God’s indictment against His People:
Your role as a priestly nation was, and still remains to draw other nations to Him.
I told you to “Envy not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways”. (Pro. 3:31) Your continuing to follow them will be to your demise. You were told “wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you” (2nd Cor. 6:17).
God’s indictment against global leadership:
These six things doth the Lord hate; yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look , a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, an heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren” Pro.6: 16 – 19.
God’s call for repentance:
I am NOT the GOD of color, or confusion, but of COVENANT. This is a call to repentance, no matter who you are. God, pressed the RESET button, that you and I might consider our ways, and once you have thought about what’s important, amend your ways, by focusing your attention on Him, and not, power, money, business, and things. Simply, REPENT!
The answer to our current crisis is 2nd Chronicles 7:14. “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land”. World, what do we have to lose by being obedient? If we don’t the worst is yet to come.
