Alfred J. Lee, CPA is the Vice President, Corporate Audit for Colgate-Palmolive Company. He is the leader of the Global Internal Audit who is responsible for the performance of operational, financial, and information technology audits and reviews at Colgate subsidiaries and business units worldwide.

Throughout his tenure at Colgate, Lee has served in the capacities of: World-wide Director, Corporate Audit, Finance Director, Colgate-Palmolive Thailand, Ltd. and Global Director of Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance.

Lee has actively participated in the development of strategic plans and the subsequent execution of such to drive a 70 percent increase in net sales and 300 percent increase in net profit after tax.

His professional associations include: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, California Society of Certified Public Accountants and the National Association of Black Accountants which has allowed him to receive much recognitions.

Some of Lee’s honors comprise the Colgate-Palmolive’s Chairman’s You Can Make A Difference Award, 2005, Leadership Greater Topeka, Class of 1997, Topeka, Kansas, Corporate Black Achiever in Industry, 1997, YMCA, Harlem, New York, Outstanding Com-munity Service Award 1995, Jack & Jill of America, Inc. and Corporate Black Achiever, 1992, YMCA, Louisville, Kentucky.

Lee received his Bachelor of Arts, in 1980 from Dillard University – New Orleans, LA and graduated Summa Cum Laude.

Lee was raised in Lincoln Park, a section of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He is the son of Alberta Wiggs and Filander (Pop) Lee and the proud grandson of Ms. Odessa Jackson. Lee has two loving sisters Annie L. Wiggs and Eva M. Bell.

He is a product of the Bro-ward County School System starting at Lincoln and Sunland Park Elementary. He completed Middle School at Rodgers Middle School and graduated from Stranahan High School, Class of 1976 where he was the first African American selected at the high school to lead the Marching Band as Drum Major – 1975 – 76.

Lee received his Bachelor‘s degree from Dillard University, New Orleans, LA as a University Scholar; Summa Cum Laude Graduate, Class Rank #1.

His is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. – Life Member, National Association of Black Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Mount Olive Baptist Church.
