    FRANKLY SPEAKING

    By W. Frank Wilson

The $64,000 question for America is will it heal from the Big Beautiful Bill, Trump lies, Court rulings and an emasculated congress as fast as Trump’s ear?

The pain and suffering is almost worthy of a lawyer.

As this nation sets its eyes on a 250 year celebration, the last 250 days makes celebrating this nation a joke!

No doubt,  some Americans  celebrate because they have always been privy to America’s best while others have seen the America and Americans from a different perspective.

Denial Discrimination Disrespect Deportation Despised Delay and Deliberate Destruction of our history culture and contributions makes July 4th just another day to be reminded that 1776 did not include people of color.

Some will argue that our contributions in shaping, building and protecting this country makes it our country too, but, even so, when all gave some and even when some gave all this land of the free used its freedoms to suppress, oppress and enslave.

Your stars are our scars, your stripes are more evident on the backs of our ancestors than some banner called a flag.

It’s that flag that caused my people to be flogged!

Not celebrating the 4th may be unpatriotic and unpopular but so is your new hero who sits in an Oval Office.

His ear is just fine, but his hearing the people leaves a lot to be desired
