Meet Miracle Butler, 14, Keniah Washington, 13, Keyanna Grant, 13, Tyreek Nash, 14, and Kaitlyn Archie-McDonald, 14 (absent from photo). This bright young cohort started as the 1st group of students taking college dual enrollment classes at Icon Preparatory School in Tampa and Jacksonville, Florida. They just finished their first year of college as well as three years of high school at the ages of 13 and 14. The youngest of the group Keniah and Keyanna began taking college courses at 12-years old.

     Broward Regional Health Planning Council’s Community Based Workforce for COVID-19 Vaccine Outreach Program is a collaborative program that engages three (3) community partners; mobilizes community health workers and medical professionals to educate; assists individuals in getting the vaccine; addresses COVID-19 related health disparities and advances health equity.

  The Republican Party, in a desperate attempt to capture the Georgia Senate’s seat, has decided to  use an old inhuman” slave owner’s tactic of using Black men as studs and treating them as buffoons. They weren’t concerned about their IQ or diction. Rather, it was their  virility and obedience. As you can see, they’ve chosen Hershel Walker, ex-pro-football player, as   their perfect stud as well as  buffoon to challenge democratic Senator Raphael Warnock.

     Now in its 10th year, the Hall of Fame Awards are bestowed upon distinguished alumni of Broward County Public Schools who have made significant impacts in their careers and in the community. The festive celebration pays homage to these illustrious leaders with a fun-filled evening of awards, music, dancing, a barbeque dinner from the acclaimed SMOKE BBQ, beer, wine, and much more. Guests are encouraged to wear their favorite team apparel.
