This past week, archaeologists in Tampa Bay, Florida reported the discovery of 328 graves under St. Matthews Baptist Church Cemetery. Gravesites that according to The Tampa Bay Times were supposed to be relocated nearly 70 years ago when the church agreed to sell the land to a group of developers. Back then, St. Matthews Baptist Church was fighting a mountain of city fees assessed to the segregation-era cemetery. Church leaders found hope in a trio of businessmen who agreed to take on the debt in exchange for the land.

The City of Fort Lauderdale has received reports from the public of fraudulent phone calls from an individual claiming to represent the city. These calls are not legitimate and are not coming from the City of Fort Lauderdale.

Just before 8 a.m. Saturday, authorities received a call from a man who said he and a hiking party saw the woman hiking alone on Capital Peak, which is about 14 miles west of Aspen. The woman fell when a rock she was attempting to grab onto gave way. The sheriff’s office contacted Mountain Rescue Aspen after being notified. The witness of the accident was able to provide the rescue group with the exact location of the woman’s body. The woman’s body was found and transferred to the Pitkin County coroner.
The unveiling will take place on the north end of the Coleman Library building on the Tallahassee campus, home of the original law school, which operated from 1951 until 1968. Among the graduates of the original law school are former judges, a former U.S. congressman, a former Florida Secretary of State, a former state senator, and other public servants.
While there are excellent GenZ leaders who are pro-voting, other GenZs say that they and their friends are frustrated with confusion about how the political system works, and they are reaching the conclusion that voting is a waste of time. We disagree! It is our belief that all eligible citizens in America must vote because voting is a fundamental responsibility that affects the quality of everyday living for citizens, in America.
The powers of the president are set forth in the U.S. Constitution under Article II, Sec. 2, 3, and 5. While there are Clauses enumerated within the Constitution subsections, none of these grant any additional powers. They only stipulate specific duties. Further, the Constitution does absolve the president from impeachment by the House, conviction by the Senate, or declaration of unfitness by the 25 Amendment. Also, once the president ‘s term end, all presidential powers end.
Telling the truth in America in 2022 is dangerous to your family and your health. The reality of gun ownership is violent, and many will in flick suffering on an individual, or a group with no logical reason. Violence is not new, but now it is blatant and overt.
