To the loyal followers of Peter Traceit, the Street Detective will be missing in action for a while, enjoying a much-needed rest and vacation too much sand in the lungs, too much dirt under the fingernails.  In a concerning incident at Camp Pendleton, a marine has been taken into custody after a missing 14-year-old girl was found at the military base.

  It is estimated that teachers will spend more than $820 on classroom supplies this year including books, snacks, pencils, paper and cleaning products. To help ease that burden for teachers and families, Broward Education Foundation, the only 501(c)3 charitable organization solely dedicated to serving students and teachers in Broward County Public Schools, has launched its annual school supply drive which equips students with essential supplies and the necessities for success.

      Mr. Melvin Brooks, Deerfield Beach native and Blanche Ely graduate, Class of ‘66, has been appointed Post Commander of Glenn Miller Post 287. Mr. Brooks was duly installed on Sunday, June 25, 2023 , during ceremonies sanctioned by the American Legion and Auxiliary Association in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

      The gunman accused of killing five people and injuring two children in Philadelphia told authorities why he went on the deadly rampage. According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, 40-year-old Kimbrady Carriker told police he opened fire Monday night (July 3) to help authorities curb gun violence in the city.

Far too often, patients suffering from fibroids are not informed of options for treatment, and women as young as 20 years old are forced to receive hysterectomies.  `In 2021, the National Institute of Mental Health reported that among the 57.8 million adults with AMI (any mental illness), 26.5 million received mental health services. The organization further noted that more women (51.7%) received mental health services than men (40%).

     Consider that while the Supreme Court has acted and has an embedded conservative majority for years to come. The Constitution does give us a way out of all the decisions handed down against our interest. 

My interpretation of Governor Ron DeSantis’ comments about Black people having too much equity in this country, own too much, and we need to go back to living on a plantation owned by the white people. I am hot as a crock pot; it’s going to take some time for me to cool off. What he said about Black people in this country has me to the point of boiling over. Black people and all people we need to get out and vote this man out of politics forever.
