Parks Programs Continue to Offer Diversity to Those With Disabilities

     Mrs. Hezeree has walked through many “valleys of the shadows of death” and each time, she victoriously emerged from each valley into the sunlight of life.  She shared gospel and light with her husband, children, the churches, and the world as a Foster Grandparent, Mother of the International Chaplains of Florida, businesswoman and owner of Fair Deal Beauty Shop (currently evolved to Ethel’s Beauty Salon), wife, mother, and musician.            

Finally, Covid-19 vaccines for kids under the age of 5 are going into tiny arms and legs this week. Since the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended two options for this age group — one from Pfizer/BioNTech and another from Moderna — parents and caregivers may be wondering which one is right for their child.

  For Black women in this country, today’s decision is especially devastating. Thirteen percent of American women are Black, but 38% of people receiving abortion care are Black. Abortion is necessary healthcare – and a lack of access can quite literally mean life or death for many Black women. This is especially true for Black women who have lower-incomes, live in rural areas, and do not have access to health care because of systemic racism and discrimination.

The Wrong Right

     For the unborn, abortion was a death sentence without due process making the mother’s womb like death row. Since Roe v. Wade is overturned, the fruit of the womb is no longer a despised object of doom.

   President Biden has contemplated the Supreme Court and Congress would help him to restore the soul of America. Sadly, what he’s failed to realize is that the Supreme Court has a sordid legacy. We can now add the overturn of Roe v. Wade to the horrendous Dred Scott v. Sanford decision of 1857.

     These are just some of the harms done by Donald Trump’s endless lying about the election he lost.

      This week, the Food and Drug Administration will be hosting listening sessions ahead of its proposed ban on menthol cigarettes. While the attending bureaucrats will certainly rehash the data we’ve known for decades about the dangers of smoking, they’ll also be hearing a new spin from progressives: Banning menthol is essential to achieve “racial equity.”
