     The centennial anniversary will honor the legacy of bravery, determination and perseverance of the eight families impacted by the Rosewood Massacre of 1923, according to information provided about the weeklong commemoration.

     With the Emancipation Proclamation, President Lincoln ended slavery in rebellious states that had seceded from the Union, thereby granting freedom to the enslaved in those states. The executive order also admitted newly “freed” Black men into the Army and Navy to fight for their freedom, or as the National Archives notes, “[enabled] the liberated to become liberators.”

According to the Chihuahua state attorney general’s office, ten security guards and four prisoners were killed, and 13 others were injured. The incident began when gunmen in armored vehicles arrived at the prison and opened fire on security personnel. Inmates took advantage of the situation, and 24 inmates escaped. It was not immediately clear who was behind the attack.

  One situation is community concerned: A rabies alert was issued by the Florida Department of Health in Broward County for a portion of Fort Lauderdale. This is in response to a feral cat that tested positive on Decenber 27, 2022.

     Enter Lenacpravir (Sunlenca). The FDA approved this drug on December 22, 2022 for people with multi-drug resistant virus. I have written about this drug in earlier articles on blackdoctor.org when it was undergoing clinical trials and I spoke about it in the Blackdoctor 2022 World AIDS Day program (https://fb.watch/hgAuRHSK98/).  It is a perfect Christmas present in the battle against HIV disease. Lenacapravir is a very important drug for many reasons. Most importantly, Lenacapravir works differently from all other approved HIV medications. This is important because sometimes, a patient may develop resistance to a particular drug, but this resistance can also affect other related drugs in the same class, so that none of those drug’s work. Lenacapravir works in a unique way, and because it is brand new, it should work in all individuals, even those who have virus that is resistant to other classes of HIV medications.

Raskin, 60, has served in the U.S. Congress, representing Maryland’s 8th district since 2017. The District of Columbia native previously served in the Maryland State Senate for two terms beginning in 2007.

     According to People, the victim was identified by family and friends on the morning of Dec. 26 as 16-year-old Tayanna Manuel. The body was located in the neighborhood of Gateway-Green Valley Ranch and, apparently, a shooting had taken place near the area three days earlier.

      Unbelievably, social media outlets such as MSNBC have reported that the MEGA coalition of millions of white supremacists are suffering because they’ve lost homes, children to wars, savings, and endless others. None of these human crises are new or should constitute a justifiable reason to overthrow the government. Certainly, they shouldn’t cause devoted Evangelical Christians to covenant Ex-president Donald Trump. MEGA’s worse nightmare is their lost air of white supremacy.
