This past Friday, I went to a concert called  Black Violin with my family. They performed all genres of music, but mostly hip-hop songs that I knew.

The show was about two hours long, and I was entertained the whole time. One of the ideas the guys talked about was breaking stereotypes. He said people usually would think that they didn’t play the violin because they were Black.

Another part of the show that I enjoyed was the very end when they brought up elementary students to perform. There were singers, musicians, and dancers. Some of them even came from Walker Elementary, which is near our church.

In conclusion,  Black Violin was a great group of guys who played the violin excellently. I would be pleased to go back to their show any time soon.
