Broward County commands public to wear cloth face masks inside businesses

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — Broward County is demanding citizens to wear masks while inside essential businesses.

The directive, which went into effect at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2020,  necessitates citizens to wear some type of face coverings inside essential businesses.

People who have breathing issues and children under two years old do not have to wear masks.

The proprietors of essential businesses must also wear face coverings during person to person contact.

The CDC suggests that the public wear cloth mask and leave the medical-grade masks for first responders and healthcare workers on the front lines of the pandemic.
