Based on details from a Postal Service audit, the Postal Service has missed its own goals for First Class mail delivery for 5 years running, with about 20% of mail failing to arrive after 5 days.

he Florida Education Association is suing the state to block plans for the August brick and mortar reopening of the state’s public schools. President Fredrick Ingram says Governor Ron DeSantis and the education commissioner do not have a responsible plan or the legal authority to send millions of children and teachers back into the classroom five a week, especially as the coronavirus spread is skyrocketing. 

Why the census is important in this regard is that it gives the Bureau a better synopsis of the most affected areas that COVID is rampant in and provides extra measures to ensure its containment from affecting other areas. That would mean more ICU beds for patients that truly need them, and an increase in equipment to better assist with the pandemic. More mask, hand sanitizer, wipes, and paper towel would be in higher supply for businesses to sell. Food trucks could be sent to struggling neighborhoods that have been affected by the pandemic. And most of all, stimulus packs could come more quickly and more efficiently to you and your neighbors.

  This past week I had the great opportunity to take a coding class for a day. I haven’t tried coding before so this was my first real experience. The class, Coding with Color, was hosted by 100 Black Men of Jacksonville, Inc.
