What is a concerned person to do?
Our nation has a problem that we only pass significant legislation if we have one party that has the House, the Senate, and the White House – if you think about it. Trump Administration’s biggest legislation was the tax bill. How was that passed? Because he had the House, the Senate, and the White House? The Obama Administration’s biggest piece of legislation was the ACA (Obamacare), because he had the House, the Senate, and the White House… It means that American citizens are addicted to getting duped by the system.
One of the powerful stories so far this election season is that Black voters are showing up and casting ballots in record numbers in key battleground states, potentially making the difference in electoral outcomes up and down the ballot.
Well, what did you get out of it? You and your family and friends contributed millions of dollars to political campaigns nationwide. How many of those campaign dollars found their way back into Black communities, Black businesses or into Black wallets or pink and green purses?

Soon after the presidential race is decided it will be imperative for the U.S. to hold a series of town hall conversations; one must be about rejecting patriarchy. Male domination continues to play too big a role in aggravating the divide that afflicts us.
Well, I have two possible headlines ready for after Tuesday’s election. My hoped-for one says: “White Evangelicals Fail to Re-Elect Trump.” But if the dismal alternative happens, the other says: “Bigotry Prevails.”
