“I was working at a dealership as a full-time mechanic, while also being a part time personal chef. After three years, I wanted to be in a new environment. Around that time, food trucks started appearing and I found myself at local food truck events. I was very disappointed with the food that I had tasted and thought to myself, ‘I can make food that tastes 10x better.’ So I started saving my money and decided to open my own food truck. Two years later, my dream came true. Operating since 2019, we serve the best Caribbean (Haitian) infused cuisine in South Florida. With the Comcast RISE grant, I plan to invest into our online platform and reach new customers taking Fin’s Kitchen to the next level.”
