Friends of George Zimmerman’s girlfriend warned her not to date him

Long before Samantha Scheibe found herself calling 911 to report that George Zimmerman had shoved her out of her home and pointed a gun at her, Scheibe’s friends had begged her not to date Zimmerman. According to MailOnline, her friends told Scheibe that Zimmerman was a ticking time bomb just waiting to go off.
George Zimmerman is scheduled to make his first court appearance today, where he will be charged with misdemeanor battery-domestic violence and criminal mischief. In July he was acquitted in the killing of unarmed teen Trayvon Martin. Since then Zimmerman has been stopped for speeding on more than one occasion and briefly detained after his estranged wife accused him of domestic violence.
Friends of Scheibe reportedly had reservations about the relationship which they shared with Scheibe. One source told MailOnline: ‘I think we all knew something like this might happen. We would all talk about where the relationship was going, and we knew it would end badly. He is just a time bomb waiting to go off.”
“Look at all the run-ins he has had with police and his family. He has big issues.”
Another friend said those who knew Scheibe were surprised to learn that she was romantically linked to Zimmerman.
“Many in the family were surprised when she began dating Zimmerman. He is not her type of guy,” said the source.
Zimmerman and Scheibe had been living together since August, which means Zimmerman moved in with her only a month after his acquittal.
When Scheibe phoned 911 she said Zimmerman was breaking items in the home and had pointed a shotgun at her.
