Governor Rick Scott, Superintendent Bob Runcie and 8 of the 9 Leading Ladies of the Broward County School Board. The Governor presented a 15 million dollar check to Broward County Schools. The Governor was at Piper High School. Piper High improved two letter grades by moving from an C School to an A school. This recognition started with entertainment from the Piper High School Choir led by Mrs. Traci Fuller. “Mrs. Enid Valdez, principal of piper and her staff are committed to CHANGE – Children Have A Need to Grow Everyday. Their hard work and dedication is becoming empirical through the improved academic achievement of our children.  I am the Proud representative of District 5 for such a time as this. We will revolutionize the Broward County School district. Our strategic priorities: High Quality Instructions, Continued Improvement and Effective Communication is our systemic framework for unleashing the District’s potential for learning. It outlines a communal approach to educating, empowering and equipping all children for college, career and community”, says Dr. Rosalind Osgood.
