Important dates to know concerning voting from the League of Women Voters

Sept. 24 – Oct. 1

Supervisor of Elections (SOE) office mails Vote-By-Mail (VBM) ballots, IF you have requested one in advance. Remember, your ballot may not be mailed until the last day of the mailing period, and then it may take three to five days before it actually arrives at your house.

Oct. 24

Last day to request that a Vote-By-Mail ballot be mailed to you. But, do not return it to the SOE by mail. Return it to an early voting site, as it is too late to safely mail the ballot. VBM ballots must be received, not postmarked, at the Supervisor of Elections offices by 7 p.m. on Nov. 3. Request Vote By Mail ballot here.

Nov. 3

Election day. Still haven’t voted? You must go to your precinct. And, if you still want to return your completed Vote-By-Mail ballot, you must take it to the Supervisor of Elections offices by 7 pm. VBM ballots will not be accepted at any precinct.
