Someone once said, “the mind is a terrible thing to waste”. On June 4, 2023, the Kappa Foundation of Pompano Beach will celebrate the academic minds and success of students in the South Florida Area. This event will highlight the Achievements of the young men in the Kappa Leadership Development Mentor Program, showcasing our graduating seniors and recognizing  several of our Florida Bright Futures Scholars. The Florida Lottery is a proud sponsor of the 2023 Achievement Reception. The Florida Lottery has been enhancing education since 1988. The reception will be held at the Pompano Beach Cultural Arts Center, 50 W. Atlantic Blvd., Pompano Beach, FL 33060, starting at 4 p.m.

Academic Success is one of the mottos of the Foundation. Academic success can open doors to brighter futures. Many of the Bright Futures Scholarship recipients shared that this scholarship is a life changing opportunity for them. And without the scholarship, attending college would be almost impossible. More than 950,000 students have attended college on a Bright Futures Scholarship. The Kappa Foundation of Pompano Beach celebrates achievement in every field of human endeavor.
