Local evangelist honored by The Charmettes

Evangelist Clark Hall

Evangelist Mary Clark Hall will receive special recognition at the The Charmettes of Broward County Seventh Annual “Men & Women in Religion/Community” Banquet on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015. Fundraising events such as the luncheon and various activities have enabled The Charmettes of Broward County to donate funding towards Cancer research, Lupus and Sickle Cell Anemia.

Evangelist Hall was born May 30 in Lexiston, S.C. She moved to Florida in 1971 and is the proud mother of two lovely daughters and the happy grandmother of six grand-children: three boys and three girls.

Evangelist Hall enrolled and attended sewing classes at B. F. James Trade School in Hollywood and Parkway in Fort Lauderdale. In 1978, Evangelist Hall successfully completed her course of study and graduated from: The School Board of Broward County, Florida, Department of Vocational Technical and Adult Education; Judy L. Wilson, instructor.

After graduation, Evangelist Hall worked at Schools in the cafeteria for many years. Also, she worked in child care for 20 years. She was a private cook for the late Pastor and Mother Leonard Smith who passed a-way, July 28, 2015.

She enjoys volunteering and visiting Broward Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers.

Evangelist Hall answered the higher calling in her life, i.e., The Lord has called her to reach outside of the box and form a group called “Reaching out Ministries”.  I am happy to say, it is very successful.

Evangelist Hall is gifted in crafting, sewing, home decorating and catering for wedding and parties, etc.  Also, she is a writer of poems, poetry and songs.

She has been employed with The Department of Transportation for eight years.
