Armon-Binns-Interacts-With-Miami Dolphins hosts Most Valuable Reader programs in Miami Dade and Broward County libraries

The Miami Dolphins Foundation partnered with Miami Dade and Broward county libraries to host Most Valuable Reader programs this week. On July 15, 2014, Miami Dolphins wide receiver Armon Binns read and interacted with Broward County elementary school and summer camp children at North Lauderdale Library.

On July 17, Miami Dolphins Alum and current team Senior Director of Community Affairs Twan Russell visited North Dade Regional Library to read and interact with Miami Dade County elementary school and summer camp children. Both parties enjoyed Papa John’s pizza as well.

The Most Valuable Reader Program is a partnership with Miami Dade and Broward county libraries. The program has almost 100 libraries participating, where each library creates a game board that encourages students to read. With each completed book, they can move through the game board and be entered to win prizes along the way.

Those completing the entire game board are entered into a drawing to win one of several grand prizes provided by the libraries and the Miami Dolphins.
