Last week Friday I went to see if I could capture pictures of the food bank at Mills Pond Park. They were supposed to start at 9 a.m. I decided to leave my house an hour early before the time.

When I arrived I spotted numerous cars waiting in line patiently for the free food. The line was so long it started by Mills Pond all the way to Oakland and 21st Ave by I95. I wasn’t able to take photos due to the excessive amount of people waiting in line.

So the next day I was determined to get my story. As I was taking precaution  my grandmother and I drove to a church called ‘Tabernacle of Faith & praise’; they were giving away food every Saturday at 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., and these lovely ladies let me take their photo with the food bags that they were giving out.

On that same day, my Grandmother and I went to the Urban League of Broward County, where they setup a new Covid-19 Testing site that had just opened. There was no waiting line. The officers told me that there was no appointment needed so you’re able to walk-in and no age restrictions for you to get checked out ,and he also told me that all you honestly needed was a face mask.
