Nominations wanted for outstanding seniors

       The Aging and Disability Resource Center is seeking nominations for the 2017 Broward Senior Hall of Fame. Candidates must be Broward County residents, 60 years of age and older, who have performed in a highly commendable manner, in the Broward County Volunteer Sector for five years or more.

Nominations, in 200 words or less, should include: the senior’s name, age, address, telephone number, email address, and a description of why the individual is being nominated.

Electees will be honored at a special breakfast in May, which is Older American’s Month. Their names also will be placed on a plaque that is displayed in the Broward County Government Building.
