The incident occurred mid-afternoon, and the shooter was a 25-year-old male who was later identified as a former employee of one of the mall stores. He reportedly opened fire inside the store before moving on to the mall’s common areas. The police and first responders arrived on the scene quickly and immediately evacuated the mall. The shooter was eventually apprehended by law enforcement officials and taken into custody. The motive for the shooting remains unknown, and an investigation is ongoing. The incident has left the community in shock and mourning, with officials and authorities condemning the senseless violence. Counseling services have been made available to victims, their families, and witnesses affected by the shooting.
