Bonnie Scott returns home after being gone for many years. As a writer and producer, she brought back along with her a hit play, Diamond In The Rough.

The outcome was amazing, people showed up regardless of the weather the house was full.

At one point you can hear a pin drop. Then you could hear so many mixed and different emotions even laughing coming from different directions.

She was able to capture her entire audience within 10 minutes.

During the play I heard a man saying:

    “Y’ALL IT JUST A PLAY”

At that moment she had all of us totally locked in.

After the play, as I waited for the car to arrive, many stayed around.

The audience was really getting into the play, and some wanted to, “lay hands” on the bishop. I could hear someone saying if that Bishop had lifted his hands one more time, I was going to let him have it! Another person was saying it was the stripper for me.

Overall, the play was a hit based upon some of the remarks; “I will watch it again” and others wanted to know, “if it will be a part two.”

Bonnie prayerfully stated, “if it’s God’s we will be taking this play to Atlanta, Ga. March 2023.”

Overall, it’s a play that you would wanna see!!!

    Congratulations ‘homegrown’ Dr. Bonnie Scott.
