Having grown folks, spend their late mornings and early afternoons at picturesque venues has become an extremely popular “thing” in our community. A nice venue with amazing food, a great atmosphere and good music is the formula for a successful brunch event, and The Big Three Alliance has certainly mastered this formula with Beyond Brunch Sundays, a South Florida premier brunch experience located in the heart of Fort Lauderdale.

With their dynamic selection of high-profile DJ’s, multiple rooms (indoor and outdoor), and a diverse and delicious all-you-can-eat buffet style menu, they have set themselves apart from other South Florida brunch events. Culminating into a positive vibes only environment and a one of kind of experience that at its peak was doing over 800 attendees a week.

For a brunch, those are astronomical numbers (beyond anyone else’s brunch numbers in South Florida) and the popular social marketing company intends on doing even more. As they have changed venues from the legendary Cafe Iguanas to America’s Backyard in downtown Fort Lauderdale. Entering their 3rd week from a long layoff due to the pandemic they were fortunate enough to have the world-renowned Ben Crump host the JSU vs FAMU brunch.

This was a highly anticipated matchup given the history of the schools, the start of the college football season and of course, Coach Prime (Deion Sanders). A man on a mission to provide more opportunities for not only the student athletes at JSU but, all the student athletes that attend HBCU’s in general.

The highly esteemed, civil rights attorney Ben Crump grabbed the mic and spoke at the event about standing up for our youth and the community at large. Hosting in this capacity usually entails a short appearance, a speech, and inviting a few other noteworthy individuals. This was business as usual, until the face of the Positivity Pays foundation Ramon “Absoloot” Robinson entered in stage right “seemingly in the fourth quarter” to present Mr. Crump with something that would have him visibly emotional yet, overly excited and honored to receive.

His very own trading card! Crump stated that he is extremely grateful for such an honor and impressed how important it is to honor and uplift others within the community.

What attorney has been elevated and celebrated on par with professional athletes? Given that the creation of trading cards is usually designated for those that athletically excel within baseball, basketball, and football.

The mission of the Positivity Pays Foundations is to create material that provides our hero’s their flowers while they can still smell them. It is extremely important to the organization to help control the narrative of their community by uplifting, empowering, and acknowledging all the good we do with and for each other.
