    Superstar Anthony Hamilton performs at local festival

            TALLAHASSEE, FL —Apart of Famu’s Homecoming epic return the community in Frenchtown welcomed R&B superstar Anthony Hamilton. Anthony Hamilton is best known for his song Charlean, point of it All and countless others hit songs.

    Frenchtown rising was put in place to Re-introduce the world to Frenchtown community and its assets Promote the spirit of community unity and collaboration, Encourage and Spur Commerce, including Business Development, Reconnect Frenchtown to FAMU (Florida A&M University).

    Macomb Street between Virginia and Georgia Streets were transformed into an Entertainment and Business Venue for the concert.

    The Executive Director Laurise Thomas of Frenchtown Rising Knew this show was going to be a hit.

    “Athony Hamilton was a person for the young and the old it’s to celebrate the FAMU homecoming,” said Thomas.

    Anthony Hamilton was excited to do this concert since this was a sponsored concert for a community.

    “I always try to find ways to give back to others I tell my children that all the time, I had the opportunity to do that with Lowes and Frenchtown Rising, “said Hamilton.

    This was one of Frenchtown’s biggest shows of the season.
