The Gold Coast Water Color Society exhibit held at Parker Playhouse in Fort Lauderdale was the highlight of this seasonās display of artist work. The society recognized local Artist Bennie Edwards (pictured) that featured two of her paintings; āHats Ladies and Family Homeā. The paintings were selected for exhibit because of the artists ability to convey a semblance of storytelling to the viewer. Artist Edwards also has paintings āGone Fishing, Landscape and Abstractā and āLost in Actionā on display at the Broward County Library, Downtown Fort Lauderdale. She has participatedĀ in over 25 exhibits and has presented 10 one-woman shows. After a 33-year career in education, Bennie stated, āItās never too late to pursue dreams ideas and to obtain goalsā.
