This year I decided to play flag football. Before I decided to play, I wasn’t that interested in the sport. I started paying close attention to it and I really became interested in it.

Right now I’m not doing Cheerleading,  but in a month or so we will start back to practice, so I decided to try out. I was tired, my feet and legs were aching and my body wasn’t yet ready for the rigorous workout that came with it.

When it came to the final tryouts, I made the team. I was happy but at the same time I knew that I had to put in a huge amount of effort and time.

While playing flag football, I am still doing some type of exercise which helps me stay busy and in shape. Now I am happy and excited that I decided to try out and I am grateful that I have the opportunity to play. I look forward to seeing how this season will go.

We have our first game on Tuesday , March 3rd.
