To vote by mail, voters must request a ballot as they won’t be automatically mailed to your home as in the recent past.
Vote-by-Mail allows you to vote from the convenience of your home. You simply request a Vote-by-Mail ballot, fill it out, sign and return by mail via pre-paid postage courtesy of the Broward County Board of Commissioners.
Vote-by-Mail requests can be done in several ways: By email – VBM@broward.org or online at www.browardsoe.org; by mail, Broward Supervisor of Elections-VBM Request P.O. Box 029001, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33302-9001; in person at 115 S. Andrews Avenue, Rm 102, Fort Lauderdale, FL, 33301; or by phone (954) 357-7055 or fax (954) 321-0310. You can track your status through a link on www.Browardsoe.org, then click on “My Status.”
When requesting a Vote-by-Mail ballot to an address not on file, a request must be sent in writing, signed by the voter, and submitted via mail, email, or fax to the Supervisor of Elections.
Brochures may be picked up at the Westside Gazette.
