City-of-Lauderdale-LakesTown hall meeting scheduled in Lauderdale Lakes

LAUDERDALE LAKES, FL — The City of Lauderdale Lakes is scheduled for its first Town hall Meeting on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at 7 p.m., City Manager, Kelvin L. Baker, Sr. is hosting this meeting to roll out his plans to pursue, among many items, an aggressive platform to create jobs, build the tax base, provide ideas for property value increases, attract new businesses, up-grade the infrastructure, and beautify the neighborhoods. The meeting will take place in the City Hall Commission chamber and will be televised on the local station as well as webcasted.

The Town hall meeting is being viewed as another avenue to get into the homes of the city’s residents. On the Town hall schedule is entertainment from the Boyd Anderson music department, Volunteer Awards, and updates of the City’s many capital improvement projects. Residents will be able to view the meeting on their local cable channel or through the internet by going to www.lauderdalelakes.org. There are three ways to participate in the Town hall meeting: online, in person, and your questions can be emailed to townhall@lauderdalelakes.org where they will have the opportunity to be read and responded to live.

“Lauderdale Lakes has so much to offer its residents, we just have to make them more aware of the many amenities available”, said City Manager, Kelvin L. Baker, Sr. “I sincerely hope to be able to reach the masses and get some good sound feedback as well as answer questions and hear the concerns of the residents. I believe the power of many working together is far better than one doing great work. For that reason, the City is looking to partner with the residents and businesses to move the City forward as a united front.”
