The conference kicks off with a comedy show on Friday hosted by funnyman/Actor Jonathan Slocumb (Meet the Brown’s, Steve Harvey Show, etc.), followed by a full day of empowering panels, a luncheon with CNN’s Angela Rye and informative and intimate breakout sessions. Attendees will end Saturday evening with a networking reception/party to wine down and connect. On Sunday, the event concludes with an inspirational “Spirit of Sisterhood” breakfast featuring broadcast journalist, Tamron Hall.

Hosted by the Women of Color Empowerment Institute, stationed in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., the goal of the conference is aligned with their motto, “Building Relationships and Uniting Leaders”.

Confirmed speakers include: Congresswoman Maxine Waters, Sylvia Trent-Adams, Surgeon General of the United States; Karen Hunter, SIRIUS XM Radio Host; Lauren Miallian, author and branding expert; Rashad Robinson, Color of Change Executive Director.
