     Black women led organizations including The National Women’s Law Center Action Fund, She Will Rise, Black Women’s Roundtable and others have continued their rallies in support of D.C. Circuit Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson as a Senate Judiciary Committee considers her confirmation.

     The new word/phrase is SME which stands for Subject Matter Expert. It is sad to say but I’m gonna say it- we are and have been taken advantage of from the first time our feet set foot on this soil of America.

     Protesters at the embassy carried Ukrainian and American flags while around the world, individuals expressed concern about the invasion. And in areas with large Black and minority populations, concern mounted for the tens of thousands of international students studying in Ukraine.

     The report revealed that Judge Jackson “possesses not only the exceptional competence necessary to serve on the Court, but also that she approaches legal questions with a profound respect for the importance of protecting the civil rights afforded by the Constitution and the nation’s civil rights laws.”

    Artist Arsimmer McCoy, granddaughter of the formidable environmentalist Leola McCoy, (God rest her soul) and longtime environmentalist Audrey Peterman will be featured speakers as part of the 75th Anniversary Celebrations of Everglades National Park on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at 1 p.m. The public is invited.

She made headlines last year as her school board defied Governor Ron DeSantis when he banned mask mandates in schools and threatened the pay of school board members and superintendents. She intends on making change not only for the communities in District 33 but all over Florida.

     Still, speculation has run rampant over the secrecy in which Justice Thomas’’ hospitalization and health have been handled.

     The accusations against activist Monica Cannon-Grant (pictured) and her husband, who formed the Black Lives Matter-linked nonprofit Violence In Boston, include defrauding donors, committing unemployment fraud, and lying to a mortgage lender.

     Two Minute Warning’s weekly program featured its second in a series dedicated to voting. The program was initiated some time ago to address the concerns surrounding the lack of enthusiasm by many toward voting. Local and state elections may find less than ten percent voting. The major question is why? The game has changed, but the conversation must continue. We are aware of the myriad  voter suppression laws being enacted nationwide. This isn’t new.   It happened many times before. Time is critical for constructive action.
