       In his own defense, Biden threw back: “When we get knocked down, we get back up.” Those short nine words have touched the hearts and souls of many Black Americans. With this one liner, Biden moved his candidacy into a space from which real heroes could rise. In one tight sentence, he summed up our DNA. As a people, we have been ruthlessly and brutally knocked down. But this special fighting spirit in our culture and religion has worked to propel our determination to get back up.

   I sincerely believe Joe Biden is a decent, caring human being who has been an outstanding President. However, I am also convinced that it is time to express our gratitude to Biden for his exemplary service and respectfully ask him to step aside. It’s time to rally around Vice-President Kamala Harris to lead the Democratic Party and this nation to victory over Donald Trump and the MAGA Movement.

       For its 51-year history, the Heritage Foundation has always been an instrument of the Far Right. Around 2016, it started to become dangerously extreme. Project 2025, and its 900-page guidebook for ending the American experiment, is perhaps its most extreme – and dangerous – initiative yet.

        The US has a long, chequered relationship with assassination. On one hand, the myths of 1776 recount of a nation born through resistance to the tyranny that it holds at the core of its identity. Values legitimizing tyrannicide can be imputed from the second paragraph of the Declaration of Independence.

       Digital assets have become an increasingly popular method of payment and an asset for investment or trading. Because many transactions involving digital assets fall outside the scope of information reporting rules, on August 25, 2023, the government issued proposed regulations for them. The new rules are intended to make it easier for taxpayers to track and report their gain or loss from dispositions of digital assets, and to enable the IRS to focus its audit efforts on taxpayers more likely to have underreported income from digital asset transactions.
