The billboard, showcasing quotes from immigrants detained at Baker, stopped in Orlando and Miami where immigrant rights advocates of the Shut Down Baker Coalition held press conferences, urging for the closure of the facility in Macclenny, Florida. The detention center is operated by the Baker County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) through a contract with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
