The Celebrated Central District, under the astute, visionary leadership of Presiding Elder Rev. Henry E. Green, Jr., held its annual Lay Scholar fundraiser at the Signature Grand in Davie, Florida on Saturday, March 11, 2023. The Central District, composed of some 20 AME churches, engaged in a friendly but important scholarship fundraiser competition to assist district students seeking higher education opportunities.

Lately I’ve been acutely aware of , at least in thought, Dr. Herman Allen whom for so very long I only knew from a distance even though we share some commonalities.
