Missing elderly woman

The Fort Lauderdale Police Department is searching for a missing elderly woman who is believed to suffer from dementia. The woman has been identified as Charlie Mae Freeman, B/F, July 6, 1932, a City of Fort Lauderdale resident.

Freeman was last seen during the evening hours of Sept.  2, 2013 just prior to going to bed. Freeman’s daughter woke up around 4 a.m. and discovered Freeman missing. Freeman resides in the 400 block of Northwest 17th Avenue in the City of Fort Lauderdale.

Freeman is approximately 5’ 5” in height and 140 pounds in weight. Freeman was last seen wearing a floral print shirt and unknown bottoms.

Investigators do not suspect any foul play at this time but are concerned for Freeman’s safety.
