A Society Where Women’s Reproductive Rights and Medical Care Are Subordinate to Animals and Fowls, Becomes Satan’s Hell! John Johnson II 08/14/23

While this title may appear insensitive or provocative, it’s not meant to evoke any such sentiments. Rather, it’s intended to convey the serious disconnect between women fighting to maintain control over their reproductive rights as well as medical care. And it’s an attempt to shed light on the harsh reality that Republican Congresswomen wanting to appear masculine and stoic have traded women’s reproductive rights for their male colleagues’ testosterone. Or could it be an actual body part that rhymes with denticles?
Men throughout history have ruled over women, treated them as chattel, forced them to wear chastity belts, relegated wives to domestic duties and childbearing. Women once considered not mentally smart, couldn’t vote, or make any decisions outside of child rearing.
In other words, white men always controlled the lives and reproductive organs of women. Regrettably, this level of control has manifested since the 18th Century and longer. Amazingly, women couldn’t vote until passage of the 19th Amendment in 1920.
Leslie J. Reagan (1997) author of “When Abortion Was a Crime,” sought to describe abortions prior to 1973 . Also, she leaves no doubt that women asserted their rights to end unintended pregnancies. However, the practice of abortions ended after “Quickening” became the method for establishing when a woman could feel the fetus moving. Therefore, abortions were criminalized in 1880.
As always, absence women’s reproductive rights defenders, men have determined when to allow abortions and to declare them illegal. Reagan again reported that the 19th Century anti-abortion crusade surged because women attempted to enroll in Harvard’s Medical School.
Anti-abortion laws forced women to relinquished control of their reproductive rights. Needlessly, women bodies have remained under the control of a white male dominated society. The only thing woman controlled is motherhood, which is their unmitigated love and care for their children.
Reagan’s research also unveiled a stench of racisms and fears which fuels anti-abortionists’ political and religious attitudes towards abortions to this very day. It’s the fear that failing birth rates amongst white women and the influx of immigrants threaten the white majority. This fear caused white men to consider lowering the temperature of anti-abortion(ism).
But Republicans realized that it’s a losing strategy to abandon their stance against abortions. Consequently, they raised the politicalization of the anti-abortion movement making it the top issue of their 2024 presidential election campaign.
Further, Republicans having gained control of the Supreme Court, with its Super conservative majority, easily achieved their goal, which was to overturn Roe v. Wade. With this accomplishment, they’ve hailed the anti-abortion movement as their ticket to the White House.
Republicans now treat women’s reproductive rights like a political football. Or, even worse, they’ve treated women like mother hens, raised exclusively to lay eggs or hatch baby chicks. Unfortunately, men consider a woman’s role is to propagate society regardless of how the pregnancy occurred. The Supreme Court severed women’s reproductive rights. Justice Alito proudly announced the death of Roe v. Wade, asserting it wasn’t deeply rooted in the U.S. Constitution. He and Justice Thomas don’t abide by any code of ethics. Is it because they’re not deeply rooted in the Constitution?
Justices Thomas and Alito, seduced by billionaires, were metaphorically impregnated with lavish gifts and expensive vacation trips. Yet they can self-abort their feckless unethical behavior at will. Is this kind of behavior not indicative of how white men lust for power to suppress the rights of others? Did they not nearly eradicate Native Indians and enslaved Black people for 246 years? Women reproductive rights are again their target.
This litany of anti-abortion information; thus far, has not focused on the most cynical and repugnant attack against women reproductive rights, which involves Republican Congresswomen. These Congresswomen have traded women’s reproductive rights for Republicans’ male testosterone. They stand with gnashing teeth reviling against women’s reproductive rights. But why?
Seemingly, having overdosed on testosterone, Republican Congresswomen no longer identify with the pain and suffering of other women having to address unintended pregnancies or pregnancies resulting from rape or incest. They even strongly endorse the idiocy of Republicans legislating to ban contraceptives for women while expanding men’s rights to Viagra. No civilized society should allow their women to endure such cruelty.
A woman’s uterus and reproductive rights cannot remain the property of the Republican Party. It’s inhumane for women to have less reproductive rights than a mare (horse) impregnated by a rogue stallion.
Shamelessly, a prized mare impregnated by a rogue stallion is immediately entitled to an abortion. Why in America should a mare receive more reproductive rights than a woman? Is paying women less, seventy cents to a dollar, not enough discrimination, and humiliation?
Regrettably, only in America, the world’s most powerful democracy, are its women reproductive rights controlled by Republican white men and Republican women who’ve elected to trade women’s reproductive rights for testosterone.
Sadly, didn’t former president, Trump tell America how to treat women? You remember what he said about being a famous man, “They let you do it. You can do anything “Grab ‘em by the pu__y.” Yet the Republican Party, not just a “Basket of deplorables,” as Hillary called them, along with millions of cult like followers are chopping at the bit to re-elect Trump, the “Narcistic Indicted One.” Is this not racism on steroids or an epidemic of lunacy or both?
