    Victor-CurrrySouth Florida Chapter National Action Network presents the Black Broadcasters of South Florida Political Action Forum

    MIAMI, FL — National Action Network, (NAN), South Florida Chapter President, Bishop Victor T. Curry, will host the Black Broadcasters of South Florida Political Action Forum on Monday, June 30, 2014 at 5:45 p.m. The forum is to provide empowering information regarding the upcoming elections and community concerns.

    Gubernatorial candidates Nan Rich and Charlie Crist will dialogue with the media panelists. Governor Rick Scott declined the invitation. The keynote address will be delivered by U.S. Congressman Alcee L. Hastings.

    ā€œOur community needs to hear directly from the candidates as well as receive information regarding key issues,ā€ said Bishop Curry.

    The event will take place at New Birth Baptist Church Cathedral of Faith international, 2300 NW 135thĀ Street, is free and open to the entire community. Media is invited.

    Bishop Victor T. Curry is the founding senior pastor/teacher of New Birth Baptist Church Cathedral of Faith International and currently serves as a National Board Member and the SE Regional Director of NAN. Reverend Sharpton and Bishop Curry have worked together over the years to encourage, empower and enlighten the African American community in Florida on civil and voter’s rights. This event is another building block in this powerful collaboration.
