According to Entertainment magazine, āBlack Pantherā is already the eighth-largest single-day gross for the film industry ever and the third-biggest opening for a superhero movie.

It also opened more than other Marvel Studios hits such as Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, and Iron Man 3. This is the 18th straight number one opening for Marvel Studios.
