      If preliminary data estimates on the recent 2020 primaries in North Carolina are accurate, student voters on HBCU campuses must raise their turnout game come the general election this November.

A series of shootings throughout the US left over 150 people wounded and almost two dozen dead. Cities throughout the nation saw a huge spike in gun violence over the weekend.

       This year I have lots of summer work to complete for my next school year. At first I didn’t know how I was going to complete it, but I’ve come up with a few strategies that I would like to share with you on how to complete summer work so you don’t have to rush everything into the last minute when it’s due.

     To slow the rapid spread of coronavirus in our community and to protect vulnerable individuals with underlying conditions, we must take measures to avoid propagating the virus. It is important to be aware of how the virus spreads and how to protect ourselves.

     When we say Black Lives Matter are we including the lives of those Black folks killed by other Black folks?  Especially our children?
