Finally, an ugly stain of racism has been wiped away. The new Mississippi state flag has a magnolia  flower and the phrase “In God We Trust” to represent the state.

In Barack Obama’s first presidential campaign, of all Blacks casting ballots, 95 percent of Black men and 96 percent of Black women chose him, NBC News reported.

     Four years later, Black women’s support remained at 96 percent for Obama’s 2012 re-election. However, the Black male vote decreased to 87 percent.

     In 2016, when the nominee was Hillary Clinton, Black men dropped even further to 82 percent, while Black women’s support for Clinton remained high at 94 percent. Biden came close to matching that this year, garnering the support of 91 percent of Black women.

One week remains for athletes 50 and over to register for the 2020 Florida Senior Games.
   The 29th Annual Florida Senior Games will be held, December 5-13, in various locations around the State of Florida.  A total of 21 sports will be contested over nine days in Alachua, Brevard, Orange, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk counties.

     Both California and Texas have recorded more than 1 million total cases, while states like Illinois, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey have seen significant rises in COVID infections. The most recent available statistics show that the District of Columbia has more than 18,500 total positive cases and 657 deaths. Washington, DC health officials have administered nearly 572,000 COVID tests to roughly 272,000 residents.

 Joe Biden has quickly gotten to work as the president-elect while his predecessor complains without proof that he’s been defrauded of the presidency. The two decidedly different approaches to leading the country were especially on display Monday after Biden made it official that he had selected a Black woman to co-chair his new coronavirus task to effectively confront the deadly Covid-19 pandemic that has proliferated on Donald Trump‘s watch.

   White males in both the Republican and Democratic political parties are holding on to their dreams about elected officials that will perpetuate and maintain their divisional, nationalistic and supremacist approaches in governmental administration.

      President-Elect Joe Biden has created a new paradigm shift when he chose Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris to be the most powerful women in Washington. Biden assembled a powerful group of women starting with his campaign manager Jen O’Malley-Dillion to lead the charge to become the 46th president of the United States.

      Former President Trump throughout his life has clearly demonstrated to America that, in fact, he’s always been a fugitive from reality. Remember, he wanted everyone to believe that with only two million dollars, given by his father, he amasked all his wealth on his own. This was a complete lie. He inherited well over $450 million from his father. Further, well before he was elected president, he promised to release his income tax records once his audit was completed. Not surprisingly, we’ve learned that he’s been and remains a fugitive from paying his fair share of federal income taxes. However, his refusal to pay taxes, even if legal, hasn’t caused the death of anyone.

     The worst person in Washington, DC IS not TRUMP, but Senate Majority leader Mitch McConnell. TRUMP is a dumb, useful idiot who spent his time bullying, hating, lying, and stealing. He did not take the time or have the intellect to learn how the government works.
