On opening day, the market will feature the traditional 18th Annual Green Market Pompano Beach Ribbon Cutting ceremony. Yoga on the Great Lawn, led by Samantha Marcum, will take place from 10 – 11 a.m. and unique shopping can be enjoyed throughout the event with the music of DJ Trish. Masks, social distancing and one-way foot traffic will be required. There will be hand washing stations and designated eating areas for patron safety.

This weekend, October 31 and November 1st, 2020, the Equal Ground Education Fund, which is the preeminent Black led non-partisan, non-profit working on building Black political power in Florida, is bringing their socially distanced “Souls to the Polls” statewide effort to fourteen counties to educate, empower, and turn out local Black voters in this key battleground state.

With the effects of Covid-19 looming, it is important that we become more innovative with our campaigning efforts. Every Saturday in October, we are “Riding with Biden!” For the past 4 Saturdays, we have convened at various locations in the Central Broward area to form the caravan and proceed to ride through neighborhoods to show support for Biden-Harris 2020.
