This Thursday will be Thanksgiving, which means it’s time to feast! Sometimes, people skip over Thanksgiving and go straight to celebrating Christmas

On November 23, New Mount Olive Baptist Church (NMOBC) and Mount Olive Development Cooperation (MODCO) came together and made an amazing effort to give out turkeys and vegetables to our community.

When someone is sick with a stuffy nose in our house, my mom uses a Neti Pot on us. It clears all of the yucky mucus in our sinuses and helps us breathe better instantly. It’s weird at first but you get use to it.

       This January, I am going to the Bahamas on a mission trip with my school. While we are there, we will be helping children who are in orphanages, and those who are disabled. We will be playing with the kids,  praying for anyone we can, and leading others to Christ. However, in order to go on this trip, we need to raise $800.

  On November 17, 2019, I went to the Broward County Courthouse to participate in a mock trial. This was an interesting experience.

   Thanksgiving is not just about the food; it is about giving thanks to God. However, we should not just give thanks to God on Thanksgiving. We should give God thanks every day. The Bible says, “I will praise the name of God with song And magnify Him with thanksgiving” (Psalm 69:30 NASB).
