As always, the popular event features a live band, DJ, food trucks, arts & crafts vendors, and gallery tours at Bailey Contemporary Arts Center (BaCA). But now, there are even more experiences on tap including previews of special events, participatory workshops, and the opportunity to meet the “Artist of the Month” from BaCA’s new Artist in Residence program. This October event will also be the unveiling of a celebratory new mural inside BaCA.
The City of Miami Gardens is proud to announce the official pre-launch of the City’s latest technological advancement – The Miami Gardens “Virtual City” Metaverse Experience. A preview of this experience is set to take place at the 2022 Denny’s Orange Blossom Classic (OBC). The OBC is an annual football game featuring HBCU powerhouses Florida A&M University Rattlers verses Jackson State University Tigers. The preview event takes place on Sunday, September 4, 2022 from 11:00am-2:30pm at Hard Rock Stadium, ‘The Terrace’ building located in the Fan Fest zone in Miami Gardens. Virtual reality headsets will be provided to event attendees.
