There are Board members in Broward who have 12 already but lucky for them, the clock doesn’t start ticking until after the November 2022 election cycle concludes. If re-elected three more times for a four year term, they could possibly serve 24 years on the school Board.

     Vote-by-Mail allows you to vote from the convenience of your home. You simply request a Vote-by-Mail ballot, fill it out, sign and return by mail via pre-paid postage courtesy of the Broward County Board of Commissioners.

It is becoming increasingly clear that a conservative Supreme Court majority’s willingness to disregard established precedent has created a destabilizing dynamic that may extend far beyond abortion in a country already divided ideologically. Abortion services have abruptly and practically been discontinued in a few conservative states.

At the end of the year Awards ceremony at Pompano Beach Middle School, six grader Payton Buggs walked away with many top honors.

     The Foundation host the reception each year to showcase the dedication, commitment, and hard work these students display throughout their academic careers. For many of these students, the opportunity is life changing. Jordan King, a senior from Pompano Beach High School, stated that “receiving the Bright Futures Scholarship allows me the opportunity to continue my academic career at Florida Southern College where I plan to study pre-med.”

      Shy Santiago, a language influencer, a homeschooling mother of 9, and the founder and CEO of Learn A Language 4 Fun, has continued to create more beginner-level bilingual books for children learning Spanish, Japanese, Korean, Swahili, and more. Based in Euclid, Ohio, her books not only teach the basics of different languages but also now include the profiles of multiple professionals from around the world. While writing these books, Ms. Santiago decided to collaborate with various business owners to feature to create a way that will provide Black children with images that reflect who they are while learning multiple languages.
