Two seniors from Hampton University’s Scripps Howard School of Journalism and Communications are heading to Washington after earning one of journalism’s most competitive honors.     This exemplary production by Spike Lee is a must see movie.  This movie received rave reviews at the annual Cannes Movie Conference.  It is set in the early nineteen-seventies and based on a true story, in which two officers in Colorado Springs infiltrate the Klu Klux Klan that is planning criminal acts of violence. 

      The film Hidden Figures brought the unsung stories of Black women NASA pioneers to the forefront, and now they are finally receiving the credit and recognition that they long deserved. Katherine Johnson, Dr. Christine Darden and the late Mary Jackson and Dorothy Vaughan have been nominated for Congressional Gold Medals, KTVA reported.
