FatMan Scoop, the Grammy-winning DJ and hypeman who got fans roaring whether he was performing at a Clippers game or taking the stage at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, died Friday, his family said. He was 53.

   Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC) announced the star-studded lineup of honorees for the 2024 BMAC Gala, taking place on Sept. 19 at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, CA.

       Nearly 26 years ago, Wesley Snipes debuted in the 1998 hit film Blade, quite literally paving the way for the Marvel Universe. The half-vampire “daywalker” who hunts vampires was a hit with fans, kicking off a series of Blade movies, with Snipes appearing in the last one, Blade: Trinity, 20 years ago. Now Snipes has reprised his role, with a cameo in the new Deadpool & Wolverine film, making history as the official title holder for longest career as a live-action Marvel character, Deadline reports.

        Beyoncé has given Vice President Kamala Harris the green light to use the Lemonade cut “Freedom” throughout her presidential campaign. After Harris’ entrance into the campaign headquarters Monday night was soundtracked by the track, CNN reported she had gotten Bey’s approval hours earlier.
