Canadian-Eritrean musician, The Weeknd, isn’t too happy with receiving zero nominations for the 2021 Grammys, and he laid bare his feelings in a tweet on Wednesday, labeling the Recording Academy as “corrupt.”
“It is out of sincere love that we share Sinbad, our be-loved husband, and father, is recovering from a recent stroke,” the comedian’s family shared in a statement. “Sinbad is a light source of love and joy for many gene-rations. While he is beginning his road to recovery, we are faithful and optimistic that he will bring laughter into our hearts soon,” the statement continued.
