Experience Island-themed Spectacular in Pompano Beach

     The City of Lauderhill’s Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) hosted the Lauderhill Live Comedy Show on December 1, 2023 at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center.  The show was hosted by the funny and multi-talented comedian Marvin Dixon, who appeared on various shows, such as Def Comedy Jam, BET ComicView, and Showtime at the Apollo.   

The City of Aventura presents Ain’t Misbehavin’, winner of three Tony Awards including Best Musical at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center on Saturday, January 27 at 3 and 8 p.m.

The entertainment and social justice communities are still mourning the passing of Arthur Leon Burnette, affectionately known by many as “Mr. B,” who died on Christmas Day 2023 at the age of 72.
